This place had great burgers and the price per combo is even better. The service is friendly and the have good cooks. My burger was spicy, those jalapeños were roasted to get the full flavor. The garlic fries are a must. Onion rings golden brown and crispy. Check it out if your in town.

Every employee I've met has been super nice. The restaurant is well-maintained and clean. I tried a couple of different burgers there and they've all been good. They have seating inside and outside which is helpful for those with dogs.

Places like J's are always going to be great it's a nice hole in the wall, reasonably priced with a drink and fries. They cut their own fries just like in n out, and fry them much more than in n out so they're crispy af but in a perfect way. The western burger was delicious the patty was juicy and all the toppings on the burger was great I'd definitely come back. They also do special burgers daily which is pretty cool. Definitely will Come back.

Such a great little hole in the wall! Service was quick and friendly. The burgers have a good quality bun and the meat is well-seasoned and yummy. Their secret sauce truly adds the oomph to this burger. I really enjoyed the fries too - shoestring style fries that are perfectly seasoned. We also ordered a hot dog and it was good, like the kind your chef uncle whips up at the family barbecue. All in all, a great place to stop by for a burger and fries craving!

GREAT burgers! 15 of us came as a family for lunch and absolutely loved it! The place itself was not the biggest but we definitely made it work. Everyone loved their food and we didn't have 1 complaint. I can't remember what everyone ordered but I had the western burger. J definitely knows how to build and amazing burger from the soft bun to the crispy onion rings and the perfectly cooked patty. Their fries were also very good and reminded me of in n out in the best way! If we're ever around Paso Robles I'll definitely stop in again!

Jay's burgers is slinging some nice juicy fat burgers. This is an underrated burger spot in Paso. Great place to fill up your tummy after a day of wine drinking. I got a breakfast burger, egg and hash brown in it and it was huge at least a quarter pound. I got the meal with fries and a drink for 10 bucks. What a freaking steal. the burger had nice buns soft and delicious. I wish the patty itself had a little bit more salt but not too bad. The fries were nice string seasoning crispy fresh. The food came out so fast. Definitely recommended would be back.

Hands down 5 Stars! Definitely the best burger in Paso. The daily special combo has gone up to $10 but this still beats any fast food or sit down restaurant. Staff is super friendly and always a service with a smile. After ordering it took about 10 minutes to get our food. Fresh fries plain or get them garlic style, either way they are delicious. Buns are on point!!

Sunday special is a breakfast burger with yummy hash brown,egg, and cheese. Paired with garlic fries. Hits the spot each time with so much flavor and a great price!
